Police raid at well known Bondi Junction Hotel
A semi regular drinker (and anonymous informer) at a well known
Bondi Junction Hotel reported as follows:
"Between 4-5 pm on April 19, 2006 I was having a drink at X Hotel when a member
of the Hotel's staff told me there was going to be a Police raid (presumably to check up on licencing drug issues etc?). I
was told it would happen in about 30 minustes, I said "How do you know?" The Hotel staff member replied or words to the effect
"Because we look after them, the Police tip us off. I was extremely
surprised when sure enough about 50 Police turned up at the Hotel"
"I am very curious as to exactly what the true nature of the relationship
is between X Hotel in Bondi Junction and the Waverley Police"
